Summary of the action from Week 15 of NTU's Bundesliga 5-A-Side competition

Week 15 of the Bundesliga's provided the best and the worst of the league.

2. Bundelsiga provided the worst as player unavailability, apathy and injury meant that only one of the four scheduled games took place as AFC Game,Set & Snatch, Pass To Stepehn and Surreal Madrid were all unable to field a side. The game that did take place provided goals enough for the other three though as The Best Choice Boys and Fat Bagz fought out a 5-5 draw that gave both teams their first points of the season.

In the Bundesliga all twelve games took place though, with goals and upsets enough to satisfy any fan. The goals started with the very first game as CC Cosmos put Baines On Toast to the sword with an emphatic 12-1 win to prove a point after their narrow defeat to Inter de Nott last time out. 5 Elite then struck a blow in the contest for fourth in the league, beating rivals Always On Top 3-0.

The result of the day came in the 3pm game. ASE FC have been on a role of late, having taken maximum points form their last ten league games, whilst league new boys Ginellies had made a solid start to their belated campaign with a win and a draw in their first two games. The form book was completely turned on it's head though Ginellies rocked the league by winning 5-4 to heavily dent ASE's title aspirations. Their defeat was compounded in the very next game as Inter de Nott strode out comfortable 4-0 winners against Token Hotspur to increase their lead in the league to five points.

LEX FC have made a habit of being involved in high scoring contests, with nine or more goals being scored in each of their last six game. The goal count was done this week, their 4-3 win over Exeter Gently extended thier unbeaten run to three games and saw them continue to push up into the top reaches of the mid table pack. Another team currently occupying this end of the table, NTU ISOC, advanced their own cause by winning 3-0 against Cheers United, before Ay Bird FC eked out a 3-3 draw with high flying CYPS. The final game of the day saw The Chaps pick up back to back wins as they beat Harpins Boys 6-1.

Week 15's Bundesliga Team Of The Week award goes to Ginellies for their shock 5-4 win over title chasing ASE FC.

With the first round of league games now complete the remaining six fixtures have now been allocated, with teams playing half their games against around them in the league and the remaining three against a spread of sides from throughout the league. Week 16's games could all go with form as teams from the top half all face bottom half opposition. The 2. Bundelsiga only provides one league fixture as Bigshot United meet The Best Choice Boys.
