Summary of the action from Week 5 of NTU's Serie B 6-a-side competition

A bitterly cold Friday night saw Serie B contest it's’ 5th week of fixtures and it proved to be a successful one for SixDix, College Drive, 50 Shades Of O’Shea and Multiple Scoregasms who all recorded victories.

The game of the week was definitely a top of the table clash between SixDix, and the previously undefeated Where’s Waleed. Clearly Waleed was needed as SixDix lived up to their name by scoring 6 and only letting in 2 to record a comprehensive victory which moved them into 3rd place and just 1 point off the top spot.

Bayer Neverloosen remain top despite being held by a resurgent Bungle FC in the evening’s opening game. Both sides hit the woodwork in what was a hugely competitive game with both sets of players going all out for the 3 points. After some heroics by the Bayer goalkeeper, the game ended 0-0, with neither team deserving of losing such a tight game.

50 Shades of O’Shea continued their climb up the table with a stylish 5-0 victory over the struggling NG11, who will be hoping for better fortunes next time out against Multiple Scoregasms. There was also success for College Drive, who came from a goal down to win 3-2 against AFC Musters in another tight match.

Next week sees some exciting fixtures, including in the form of 50 Shades Of O’Shea facing off against College Drive, along with Where’s Waleed taking on Bungle FC. It should be a cracker…
