Summary of the action from Week 16 of NTU's Serie 6-a-side competition

Week 16 saw a big change in the Serie competition as the league moved from it's traditional venue on the Clifton Campus All-Weather Pitch on to the brand new 3G Pitch, becoming the first ever activity to be held on the pitch.

And The Winners Are became the first team to win a game on the new surface, beating Ale Madrid 8-2, with Winners player Ben Oliver becoming the first player to score a competitive goal on the pitch as well. At the same time the shock result of the day took place as mid-table stalwarts Schneefers grabbed a 2-1 over table toppers Le Saux Solid Crew.

With Globo Gym Purple Cobras vs H What FC not taking place due to Globo's unavailability which handed H What a 3-0 win, 4.40 saw only one competitive game take place as Tekkerslovakia maintained their faint title hopes as they beat Barlows Big Boys 4-1.

The start of both 5.20 games was delayed due to player arrival issues. However, when they got underway, the results provided vital wins for teams at the top of the league.
