Summary of the action and events from Week 2 of NTU's Inter-Mural League

The second round of games in the Inter Mural league again saw two matches needing to be moved to Highfields Sports Club to allow some of the Victoria Embankment pitches to recover from their use during the Nottingham Half-Marathon. This change did nothing to reduce the standard of the games at either site though.

In Pre-LIGA A ACS FC's fine start to the season was ended by Brack FC, who themselves picked up their first win of the campaign. Table Tennis Society drew for the second week running, this time against BSOC Bulldogz and Mathematic Bilbao opened their account for the season with a hard fought 3-2 victory over Red Stripe Belgrade.

Pre-LIGA B saw East Staines Massive record their first points of the campaign with a 5-2 win against Real FC, whilst BSOC All-Stars first game of the season saw then gain a point in a 2-2 draw with Quantity Surville. The game of the day was an 11 goal thriller at Highfields between Maltings FC & Kings Of Leon Osman, with the former coming away on the right side of a 7-4 scoreline. This victory left Maltings as the only team in either league with six points at this point of the season.

Next week Table Tennis Society & Quantity Surville have to face the warmth of a Bye Week, the only side in Pre-LIGA A with a 100% record, Mathematic Bilbao will look to continue their run against BSOC Bulldogz & Maltings FC will look to make it three wins from three games against East Staines Massive.
