Overview of the action from the Week 6 of NTU's 5-a-side BUNDESLIGA

Week 6 of the Bundesliga, whilst only featuring three competitive games, did provide results which had a big impact on the table.

The number of games was reduced due to the inability of Average Joe's, Cunning Stunts & Muay Thai Fighters to field teams this week, with the upshot being that Goldsmiths, Shelvey Style and Two Balls Are Not Enough all picked up three points without kicking a ball.

The first of the completed fixtures featured Lex FC and Gordon House Massive, with Lex eventually running out 4-0 winners, though again Gordon House performed better than the scoreline would suggest. This game was followed by an epic encounter between Exeter Gently and Sandby. Despite Sandby going ahead 2-0, Exeter fought hard to get back into the game preserve their unbeaten run, with the game ending at 3-3. The final match of the day was between Mill House and CC Cosmos, with both teams knowing that a win would see them become heavily involved in the title chase. At the end of the game it was Mill House who prevailed, coming out on the right side of a 5-3 scoreline.

At the end of the weeks fixtures, and with the halfway point in the league now passed, Goldsmiths have moved into first place, becoming the first team other than Exeter Gently to hold the position this season. Exeter's draw has seen them drop to third, behind both Goldsmiths and Lex. Two Ball Are Not Enough are now level on points with Exeter, whilst Mill House have maintained their position of being just three points of the league leaders. Shelvey Style, CC Cosmos and Sandby all have nine points and a +1 goal difference, with only goals scored separating them in sixth-eighth. Average Joe's, Cunning Stunts, Muay Thai Fighters and Gordon House Massive now sit adrift at the bottom, but still have every chance of finishing in the top half if they put a run of results together.

The big games in Week 7's fixtures see top of the table Goldsmiths face CC Cosmos, Two Balls Are Not Enough play Mill House and Exeter Gently meet LEX FC.
