Summary of the action and events from Week 5 of NTU's Inter-Mural League

The action that took place in the three LIGA's in this round of fixtures had big implications at the top and bottom of each table.

In Pre-LIGA A, Mathematic Bilbao took a big step to securing a place in LIGA post Christmas with a 5-2 victory over Table Tennis Society. Brack City did the same in their narrow 3-2 victory over Red Stripe Belgrade, which was the fourth time this season that the latter have lost by a single goal. BSOC Bulldogz drew 2-2 for the third time in four games, leaving them undefeated and allowing Bayer Lexerkusen to pick up their first point of the season.

Pre-LIGA B saw Kings Of Leon Osman return from their Bye Week with a 6-2 win over East Staines Massive, whilst FC Futsal and BSOC Allstars played out a 3-3 draw. Maltings FC vs Quantity Surville was postponed until 5/12/12 due to an unavailable referee.

In LIGA C 4-2 scorelines were the order of the day with History Society Football Club beating Dynamo Chicken Kiev and NTU Men's Football Development Squad winning against Bayer Neverloosen.

Next weeks fixtures will see the first opportunities for some of the teams in Pre-LIGA A and B to secure a place in LIGA A in 2013, with Mathematic Bilbao, Brack City, BSOC Bulldogz and Kings Of Leon Osman all being able to do so if they can pick up a win.

Highlight fixtures are BSOC Bulldogz vs ACS FC in Pre-LIGA, with a win for either side having a huge impact on each others promotion chances, Quantity Surville vs FC Futsal in Pre-LIGA B, where each team needs a win in order to give them a viable chance of gaining promotion, and History Society Football Club vs AFC Botton in LIGA C with both teams currently being undefeated.

Additionally next week should also see all Pre-LIGA A & B fixtures return to Victoria Embankment for the first time this season.
