Week 10 Bundesliga Team Of the Week Ivory Toast

Summary of the action from Week 11 of NTU's Bundesliga 5-A-Side competition

As the Bundesliga passes the halfway stage in the season the leagues are beginning to take shape at both ends of the tables.

In the 2. Bundesliga league leaders AFC Game, Set & Snatch dropped from the top as they experienced their Bye Week. Inter Mi-Nan became the first team to overtake them as beat Bigshot United 5-3 to pick up their first competitive win of the year. Sapphic United then followed this with thier own first win as they thrashed Fat Bagz 10-1.

Ivory Toast moved to the top of the table at 1pm as they racked up a 9-4 win against Pass To Stephen before Surreal Madrid got their season off to a flying start as they beat The Best Choice Boys 9-2.

No games took place in the Bundesliga until 3pm as both NTU ISOC and Real Sosobad handed Walkover victories to ASE FC and 5 Elite. The victories for both these teams, who had started the day in 2nd and 4th, put pressure on Inter de Nott, who responded by putting eight unanswered goals past Harpins Boys and CC Cosmos, who picked up a hard fought 8-5 win against Ay Bird FC.

At 4pm LEX FC ground out a 6-4 victory against old foes The Chaps, with this being followed by CYPS continuing their winning ways with a 6-1 victory over Exeter Gently. With Baines On Toast being unable to fulfil their game and giving Cheers United three points in the process the last game of the day featured Always On Top and Token Hotspur. Always On Top put to bed their late disappointment the previous week against CC Cosmos as they won 4-0 to keep themselves in the hunt for the top placings at the end of the season.

Week 11's Team Of The Week awards goes to Ivory Toast as their 9-4 win over Pass To Stephen saw them move to the top of the 2. Bundesliga table.

Week 12 largely features teams from the top half of each table playing teams from the bottom. However, two games throw up the potential to have impacts on their leagues. Surreal Madrid and Ivory Toast put their 100% starts to the season in 2. Bundesliga on the line at 12pm and the unpredictable NTU ISOC play Always On Top at 3.30.
