A round-up of the action from Week 3 of the SERIE 6-A-Side League

Week 3 of the SERIE saw some big results in both the A & B leagues as teams look to secure a place in the top division in March.

SERIE A saw an impressive result for the belated debuting Scoregasm Japan who picked up a 4-1 victory against Cease Hiders, whilst 2 Goals 1 Cup picked up their first point of the season in a 0-0 draw with Destiny, though the result does mean that only a win for 2 Goals 1 Cup next week can stop Destiny claiming a point in SERIE A in the second part of the season.

The games in SERIE B had big implications at the top of the table as Ajax Trees Down moved above the Bye Week bound Trent Architects, following their 3-0 win over Titus Bramble's Frisky Fingers, a result that also mean that Titus will be playing in SERIE B in March. The second game in SERIE B saw Defenders Assemble pick up their first swin of the year against 4-1 versus Peverell Plebs.

Week 4 of the leagues should provide some more clarity to who will be playing in the which league following the seeding split in two weeks. A win for either Egypt FC or Scoregasm Japan in their game will put them in an extremely strong position for playing in SERIE A, whilst failure to win for Cease Hiders or 2 Goals 1 Cup will result in them playing in SERIE B. A win for Ajax Trees Down against Peverell Plebs will give them the best chance of playing in SERIE A, though their fate will be entirely out of their own hands and will be partially decided when Defenders Assemble and Trent Architects meet in the second late game of the day.
