Summary of the action from Week 5 of NTU's Serie 6-a-side competition

For the second week running only four games took place in the SERIE, with Ay bird's fixture with Ale Madrid being moved due to players being away for Reading Week and And The Winners Are vs Globo Gym also being rearranged.

4 pm saw four of the top five play as Tekkerslovakia played Borussia Teeth and H What FC met Le Saux Solid Crew. In the previous 129 5 & 6 a side league games held in the Serie and BUndesliga competitions only three 0-0 draws had taken place. Despite the endeavour and skill of all involved 4 pm on Friday 15th November saw two occur at the same, leaving the top of the table looking the same after the games as beforehand.

4.40 saw a return to the free scoring that the Serie has come to regularly provide, but not from an expected source. 2 Goals 1 Cup hadn't won a match in the 6-a-side league since 22nd February, but put this right by racking up a 10-1 scoreline against Schneefers.

The final game of the day saw Is Your Motherwell run close by Barlow's Big Boys in a 3-2 victory which stretched their unbeaten run to four games and moved them up two second in the league, just one place behind table toppers Tekkersolvakia.

Week 5's Team Of The Week award undoubtedly goes to 2 Goals 1 Cup for their 10-1 win, that not only saw them move away from the foot of the table, but also get their first three point haul in nine months.

Week 6 again should hopefully see the return of a full fixture list. 4 pm sees the big game of the day as third plays fifth when H What FC meet Borussia Teeth, whilst fourth placed Le Saux Solid Crew play Schneefers. At 4.40 league leaders Tekkerslovakia play And The Winners Are, the only other team in the league with an undefeated record so far this season. The resurgent 2 Goals 1 Cup play Ale Madrid at the same. The round finishes off with Ay Bird FC returning to action against Barlows Big Boys and Is Your Motherwell trying to extend their winning run against Globo Gym Purple Cobras
