Essex FA v Sussex FA play out a thriller in our first Under 18's Final

Our first ever Under 18's Final lived up to all expectations, on a lovely sunny afternoon Essex got off to a blistering start with a goal within 8 mins with a strike by Misha Djemali but Sussex responded immediately with Jasper Pattenden equalising after 10 mins. The game was then end to end with both sides having chances but went into the break 1-1. The second half started with the same pace and fire and Sussex went 2-1 up with a great goal from Essah Jennah, with it looking like a Sussex win the Essex side never gave up and got their reward in the 85th minute with a strike by Callum Fitzer. The extra period again saw some great football and with the game heading towards penalties up popped Jasper Pattenden to grab his second of the game in the 117th minute to send the Cup back down to the south coast.
