GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation

We, the Craven District Football Association, will only use your data to administer this association. We won’t use your details for any other purpose unless we obtain your consent to do so, or if we have another lawful basis for such processing. Further information on how we handle personal data can be found in our ‘Privacy Policy’

Privacy Policy
1 Information we may collect about you

We may collect and process the following data about you:
1.1 Information that you provide by filling in forms
1.2 We may ask you for information regarding a specific issue i.e: unfulfilled fixtures etc.
1.3 Information you provide to us
1.4 If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence and
1.5 Details of, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data and the resources that you access, for example Facebook posts

2 Where we store your personal data
2.1 The data that we collect from you may be stored at Committee members’ homes. All information you provide to us is stored and protected by adequate security but cannot be completely secure. Any payment transactions will be encrypted. Where ‘Full Time’ or ‘Whole Game’ have given you(or where you have chosen} a password which enables you to access certain parts of their sites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.


2.2 Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to us and any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features/software to try to prevent unauthorised access.

3 How we use your information
We use your information in the following ways
3.1 To ensure we administer the Association in the most effective manner for you and your Club
3.1.1 To provide you with information or services that you request from us or which we feel may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive such information you must make it known to the Association.
3.1.2 To carry out our obligations to various Leagues which cover our Association area
3.1.3 To notify you about changes to our services.
3.2 We may also use your data , or permit selected third parties to use your data, to provide you with information or newsletters about our services, seminars and other events which may be of interest to you and we or they may contact you about these by post or telephone.
3.2.1 If you do not want us to use your data in this way, or to pass your details on to third parties for marketing purposes please let us know.

4 When we disclose your information
4.1 We may disclose your personal information to our affiliate companies
4.2 We may disclose your personal information to third parties in limited circumstances, including ..
4.2.1 If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation (for example to the Police or any relevant regulatory body), or in order to enforce or apply our rules with any relevant League.
4.2.2 Where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Craven and District Football Association club or Executive committee members or others
4.2.3 To any Auditors or other inspecting organisations from time (including any accrediting organisations). This also includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction

5 Your rights and third-party links
5.1 You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by contacting us by post or email
5.2 The Act gives you the right to access information about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10.00 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
5.3 We do not, as an Association have a website; however other football related sites may contain links to and from the websites of partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.

6 Changes to our Privacy Policy
Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on relevant monthly minutes and, where appropriate notified to you by email. This document will also appear on Full Time where it can be downloaded and printed when needed.
