I was asked the question about the rules regarding filming matches, especially where 16, 17 year olds are playing, below is a reply from County.

With regard to the recording of games, it is recommended that you have photo consent for all U18s in football. Please bear in mind that, in some circumstances, 16/17 year olds can 'self-consent' to having their photograph taken though parent consent should still be sought when a player registers.

It is not an offence to take images/video of any person in a public space though we would recommend that all Clubs exercise caution and follow guidance/best practice where children and young people are concerned. I have attached The FA's guidance on Filming and Photography in football which should be able to provide further clarity.
