Bexhill Rovers Win The Junior Challenge Cup

Congratulations to Bexhill Rovers who, having been beaten finalists in 2018-19, lifted the Hastings F A Junior Challenge Cup for the first time after a closely-fought 1-0 victory over Sedlescombe Rangers Reserves in a well-attended final at the Pilot Filed last night.
With both teams creating chances the contest could have gone either way but it was Bexhill Rovers who netted the deciding goal midway through the second half with a scrambled finish from Luke Alais.
The trophy and medals were presented by Hastings F A president Tony Cosens assisted by chairman Eddie Potter.
The Hastings and District Football Association would like to thank Hastings United Football Club for hosting the final, competition sponsors, Wisdens (Hastings) Limited, the match officials - Justin Warren, Lewis Bellamy, Nick Greenfield and Aga Zukowicz and everyone who came long to support the two teams.
