NDSFL - Match Day 5 Focus

Almost a FULL programme for the fist time this season, see a number of interesting tussles.

In BOND STREET TROPHIES Premier Division sees on form Poplar Athletic entertain Haunchwood Sports, who sit in third space, although having played more games are also in good form.

Hartshill Sports, moved of the bottom after last weeks win over Frank Parkers, and this week sees then host Lamb & Flag who returned to their best in the 3-1 win over Fuzzy Duck.

Grendon return to action sitting proudly at the summit, Sunday they visit Fuzzy Duck looking to push on, although Fuzzy Duck will be worthy opponents.

In the EJ GROUP Ltd Division 1 pacesetters Rogue Elite visit Drayton Res who themselves sit in third spot after a solid start, could be a cracker. Griff & Coton welcome Bedworth Liberal and will be looking to open their account, against mid table Libs. Hansom Cabs will be looking to emulate last seasons form when they were champions of the Hinckley Sunday League Premier Division, when they visit Chetwynd Phoenix for the first time.

SS Bulls Head top The MARK BLAIR MORTGAGE & FINANCE Division 2, and this week take on Athletico Duke in an all-Hinckley tie, worth a watch! Acorn and Royal Athletic meet at George Eliot with the Royal who are undefeated come up against Acorn. All the other Division 2 matches are Nuneaton v Hinckley affairs with Ashby Road Sports visiting Bramcote to take on Swan Dive, Stoneycroft Utd come up against high flying Whitestone and finally Barwell Cricketers will want to get back into action against Crow’s Nest Sports.

A number of intriguing fixtures in NUNEATON TROPHIES Division 3, table topping Thurlaston Magpies see unbeaten Green Bear visiting in what could be a close game. Sunnyside Inn go head-to-head with Attleborough FC, whist Attleborough Sports entertain Red Lion Sapcote at George Eliot.

Trent Valley travel from Bedworth to take on Ambleside, with both teams in good form Chase & LNFC 19 visit C.J’s Athletic and Haunchwood Res respectively to complete the Division 3 programme.

RAIHANS INDIAN TAKEAWAY Division 4 throws up a few interesting games, top of the table Phoenix Utd make the short trip to Tarro Lounge Caterpillar, with Bedworth Bank in second spot take on Bermuda Park. Grendon Res sitting in mid table but with games in hand take o bottom club Attleborough Sports Res.

Red Lion Barwell visit Coniston Tavern which could be a close affair, White Hart and Griff & Coton Manor Res equal on points at the right end of the table take on each other at Ridge Lane

In the final game, Lamb & Flag Res welcome Conny Panthers to the Pingles for what looks on paper to be a close matched affair.
