Louise Macey, Football Development and Education Manager said "Very proud to announce that our GK Niall Clayton has signed a two year scholarship at Oxford United. Niall has been playing in the National Football Youth League under the management of Kevan Broadhurst. It wasn't long before he caught the eye of ur U21 Manager Richard Beale in training and was soon training with first team GK coach Kevin Poole. Marcos Painter referred Niall to Oxford and within days the decision was made to sign him. All the staff are thrilled for Niall - the move is thoroughly deserved - he has all the physical and mental attributes necessary to make it to the top level"
