SJFL FUTSAL FESTIVAL IS BACK FOR 2019 and again HOSTED BY SHREWSBURY SPORTS VILLAGE
The SJFL Futsal Festival is now in it's eleventh year and for a second year running will provide a mid-week programme - this time for U12s, 13s and 14s. The Futsal Festival opens on Weds 9th January with 5x U12 teams and on Friday 11th January with 4x U12 teams. The main Sunday Futsal event for U7s to U10s starts on 13th January and will inc. POWER PLAY. Over the next 9 weeks to 10th March more than 90 teams and over 900 players will participate in the Futsal Festival making this the best opportunity for players to play and enjoy Futsal in Shropshire

SJFL 2022-23: Charity Cup and Charity Consolation Cup (U10 - U16) will be played in group stage games then quarter and semi-finals (subject to team entries in groups). League Cup (U13 - U16) is a knock-out competition by rounds to the cup finals.

The FA has been granted approval from the International Football Association Board (IFAB) to introduce a new trial to remove deliberate heading in football matches across U12 level and below in England from the start of the 2022-23 season.
