SJFL Respect Futsal Festival runs from 8th Jan to 25th Feb at Shrewsbury Sports Village. This year will see 70 teams across U7 to U10 age groups playing over the 8 week festival. Click the link below for latest Futsal fixtures/news
Based on Respect/Fair Play – teams don’t play for points or medals but are assessed on Respect. This year will see the event open with a U7 festival (as a introduction to football) along with teams from each age group U8, U9 & U10. Over 70 teams have entered making this the best event to date with over 130 fixtures over the 8 week programme..
Respect team winners will receive Respect medals at the league’s Presentation Day next June.
SJFL 2022-23: Charity Cup and Charity Consolation Cup (U10 - U16) will be played in group stage games then quarter and semi-finals (subject to team entries in groups). League Cup (U13 - U16) is a knock-out competition by rounds to the cup finals.

The FA has been granted approval from the International Football Association Board (IFAB) to introduce a new trial to remove deliberate heading in football matches across U12 level and below in England from the start of the 2022-23 season.
