Week 5

In the Under 12 Division of the South Liverpool Junior League Springwood continue to be decisive in front of goal and on Saturday beat Marshalls Barkhill 6-1 with the division stop scorer Matty Bulinski netting five to take his seasons total to seventeen. Louis Sherwood scored Springwoods other goal. Marshalls were equally prolific beating Prescot Rangers 10-0 thanks to a Michael Lowther hat trick, two from Harry Fieldstead and one each from Tom Graves, Josh Houghton, Josh Parry, Michael Parry and Sam Wilde. The Litherland derby saw Remyca Devils come out 3-0 victors against Remyca Rebels thanks to goals from Ryan Cameron, Max Duggan and Dan McEvoy. Elsewhere Club Sport (Ben Comaish and Declan Ferguson) edged their game agains Litho 2-1.

In the Under 13 Division Woolton Power retained their 100% record at the top with a 6-2 win over Marshalls. They were behind early on through the divisions top scorer Xenon Bahula. Power soon settled and Daniel Meir equalised and it was not long before the reliable William Lawrence beat the offside trap and put Power ahead. Before the break William Lawrence rounded the keeper to get his second followed by Nick Lowe scoring. Marshalls, already under-strength lost another player in the second half before Power completed their scoring when William Lawrence was twice the provider for goal poacher Carl Furlong. Marshalls continued to press Power and were rewarded with a well deserved late goal from Adam Pickering. In another thriller Runcorn Linnets beat Dovecot Elite 7-3 thanks to goals from Tom Collins (3), Charlie Anthrobus, Macauley Clifton, Leon Duckers and Jorge Dwyer. Elsewhere Marshalls Barkhill (braces from Joe Foy and Clayton law and one each from Germaine Myles and Jake Parker) beat Chelwood Athletico (Connor Charlsworth) 6-1.

In the Under 14 Division Prescot Rangers share top spot after a 4-1 win over Chelwood Westwood. Mac Northstar drew 4-4 with Runcorn Linnets with Dylan Jeffery netting a hat trick and Liam Kearns scoring for Northstar. Elsewhere Mossley Hill beat Finn Harps 4-1.

In the Under 15 Division Matthiola are top on goal difference after beating Prescot Rangers 4-0 thanks to goals from Jordan Lockett (2), Issacc Sharples and Luke Sutton. Last years champions Gateacre retain their 100% record after a convincing 13-1 win over Woolton Sharks. Cole Fowles netted four, Jack Cooper and Salim Djabi hat tricks and Ian Dembelle, Rio Duhaney and Luke Livingstone nabbed one each. Nathan Christopher scored the consolation for the Sharks. Woolton Vikings (two each from Joe Roberts and Tom White and one each from Jack Cannon, Harvey Till and Tristan Walker) beat Bleak Hill Rovers 7-3. Elsewhere Marshalls beat Chelwood Spartans 8-0 thanks to four goals from Jake McKettrick, two from Ryan Hollinsworth and one each from Joe Duffy and Charlie McLoughlin.

In the Under 16 Division Whiston Juniors are top after a 4-0 win over Rosemont Athletic with Jordan Davis, Johnny Foy, Harry Nulty and Joel Smith getting the goals. Woolton also won 4-0 thanks to goals from Owen Hollywell (2), Tom Blundell and Michael Kielty. Elsewhere FC Start beat Rosemont 8-3
