In the Under 13 Division of the South Liverpool Junior League Runcorn Linnets have taken over at the top after a 4-0 win over Kingsley Utd thanks to goals from Tom Collins, Leon Duckers, Jorge Dwyer and Jack Rogers. Woolton Power slipped up against a resurgent Marshalls Barkhill. Testing conditions made it hard for both teams with the first half ending goalless. After the break Barkhill took the lead through Kai Bradley Cairns before a well taken free kick from Joe Foy extended their leave. William Lawrence pulled one back for Power before Clayton Law netted Barkhills third for a deserved 3-1 win. Elsewhere Marshalls beat Chelwood Athletico 14-o thanks to four goals from the divisions top scorer Xenon Bahula, a Lewis Scott hat trick, two each from James Curphey, Finlay Pearce and Adam Pickering and an Ethan Smith strike.

Marshalls Rosemont remain top of the Under 14 Division after a 10-1 win over Mossley Hill. Kieran Flemming helped himself to a hat trick, Hassan Mslah netted twice and Anthony Dodson, Lucas Garbe, Lucas Murphy, Joseph Rice and Fraser Spencer also netted. Runcorn Linnets came out 6-4 winners in a ten goal thriller against Chelwood Westwood. Elsewhere Prescot Rangers edged out Matthiola 2-1.

Matthiola remain on top of the Under 15 Division on goal difference thanks to a 6-1 win over Chelwood Spartans. Gateacre share the top spot and beat Chelwood Rangers 8-2 thanks to four goals from Cole Fowlis and one each from Jack Cooper, Salim Djabi, Rio Duhaney and Matty Scoullar. Prescot Rangers are keeping up the chase after a 7-1 win over Bleak Hill Rovers. Their goals came from Caleb Jones (3), James Billows (2), Luke Barton and Luke Daly. Woolton Vikings (three from Tom White and one apiece from Harry Keeley and Harvey Till) beat Chelwood Tarways 5-3. Elsewhere Marshalls (Jake McKettrick, Georgie O’Hare and Ben Wade) beat Woolton Sharks (Lewis Daly and Elliot Gibson) 3-2.

The Under 16 Division is particularly competitive and Tricorn Hotel are top after beat ing Woolton. Geneva drew 3-3 with Whiston Juniors thanks to two goals from Luke Fenney and Liam Bott. Elsewhere James O’Hare scored a 30 yard scorcher to equalise for Rosemont Athletic after John M’Keown had netted for Kingsthorne Jaguars.
