Week 4

In the Under 12 division of the South Liverpool League Springwood continue to make hay at top and Kingsley Utd were unfortunate to come up against them last weekend. Their 10-0 win saw the prolific Matty Bulinski net a hat trick, Louis Sherwood four and Callum Robinson and Daniel Sweeney also contributing. Marshalls Barkhill edged out Woolton Corinthians 2-1 and Litherland Remyca Devils beat Marshalls 2-1. In the latter Marshalls took the lead through Alex O’Hare before Remyca Devils, worked hard to get back in the game with Dan McEvoy and Finlay Spence netting.

In the Under 13 division Woolton Power retained their 100% record with a 6-1 win over Marshalls Barkhill. Woolton Power took the early advantage through the reliable William Lawrence. It was not long before he had a second. Marshalls came back and netted through Jake Parker before the break. After the break Patrick Craig converted a penalty before his assist allowed Daniel Meir to score. Sean Smallwood and Carl Furlong both converted for a comfortable win. Marshalls Xenon Bahula took his seasons total to twenty as he netted six in their 12-1 win over Dovecot Elite. Finlay Pearce and Lewis Scott nabbed braces with Jack Beattie and Adam Pickering also contributing. Elsewhere Kingsley Utd beat Runcorn Linnets 7-1.

In the Under 14 division Matthiola are top after a 2-0 win over Mossley Hill. Prescot Rangers beat Marshalls Vale 7-0 and Marshalls Rosemont and Mac Northstar played out an eight goal thriller which ended 4-4. Lucas Garbe netted a hat trick for Marshalls and Dylan Jeffery, Liam Kearns Quinn, Francis Pattie and James Rossiter Coan shaed the goals for Northstar. Elsewhere Chelwood Westwood beat Finn Harps 3-0 thanks to goals from Abin Anto, Niall Caton and Lewis Ellis.

In the Under 15 division Marshalls surprised the unbeaten Woolton Vikings , beating them 4-2 thanks to goals from Charlie McLoughlin (2), James Craven and Ryan Hollinsworth. Daniel Fisher and Tom White scored for Woolton. Gateacre (Ian Dembele and Salim Djabi) beat Prescot Rangers (Luke Daly) 2-1. In the Chelwood derby Spartans beat Rangers 5-0 thanks to goals from Joe Barlow, Andy Delaney, Lewis Fearns, Ethan Madeley and Chris Murphy. Elsewhere Bleak Hill Rovers beat Chelwood Tarways 9-4.

In the Under 16 division Whiston are top after coming from behind to beat Kingthorne Jaguars 2-1 thanks to goals from Jordan Davis and Aaron Murphy. John McKeown had put Kingsthorne ahead. Kingsley Utd beat Rosemont Athletic 3-0 and Geneva thumped Rosemont 9-3 with Luke Fenney netting four, Liam Bott three and Jack Gamble and Danny Nolan one each. Elsewhere Kieran Moran netted a hat trick as Woolton beat FC Start 6-2. Their other goals came from Issaac Appleton, Owen Hollywell and Ben Smith
