Week 10

The top of the table clash in the Under 16 division of the South Liverpool Junior League ended all square with Tricorn Hotel drawing 3-3 with Whiston Juniors. Jordan Davis scored all three of Whiston’s goals and Mike Ratcliffe all three of Tricorn's. Geneva are keeping up the chase after a 5-2 win over Kingsley Utd. Liam Bott scored a hat trick with Jack Gamble and Alex Jones also contributing. Woolton beat an unfortunate Rosemont 13-0 thanks to five goals from Michael Kielty, three from Joe Ellison, two each from Kieran Moran and Jamie Ruddock and goal from the divisions top scorer Owen Hollywell.

In the Under 15 division Matthiola are top on goal difference after edging out Woolton Vikings 3-2 thanks to goals from Amir Hajri, Issacc Sharples and the divisions top scorer Luke Sutton. Gateacre (Jack Cooper, Ian Dembele and Matty Scoullar) beat Chelwood Spartans 3-0. Prescot Rangers came from two behind to beat Marshalls 5-2. First half goals from Joe Duffy and Jake McKettrick were cancelled out by braces from Luke Barton and Caleb Jones and a James Billows finish. Elsewhere Woolton Sharks beat Chelwood Rangers 5-2. Sharks Lewis Daley broke the deadlock and they then doubled their advantage before the break thanks to Yousif Yehia. Chelwood pulled one back after the break before a brace by Liam Anderson calmed Shark nerves. Rangers came back again with a spectacular first time strike before Chris O'Reilly finished off a brilliant passing move for Sharks fifth.

Marshalls Rosemont remain unbeaten at the top of the Under 14 division after a 7-1 win over Chelwood Westwood. Anthony Dodson and Lucas Garbe nabbed two each with Kierna Flemming and Fraser Spencer also contributing. Mac Northstar are also unbeaten and are keeping up the chase after a 6-1 win over Mossley Hill. The divisions top scorer Dylan Jeffery scored a hat trick as did Liam Kearns Quinn. Elsewhere Runcorn Linnets and Prescot Rangers drew 2-2.

In the Under 13 division Woolton Power are top after a 14-0 win over Chelwood Athletico. William Lawrence and Joe Ponzini scored hat tricks, Sean Smallwood and and Simon Whitehead two each and Carl Furlong, Suneel Jagota, Nick Lowe and Guy Ravenscroft also scored. Elsewhere Kingsley Utd came out on top 6-3 in a nine goal thriller against Marshalls.
