IMPORTANT MESSAGE RE : KICK OFF TIMES MEADOWHALL LEAGUE

There appears to be confusion surrounding kick off times in this League. At the League Meeting in August the Management Committee advised ALL Teams that this League is FLEXIBLE with Kick Off times. The preferred kick off time is 11am but we recognise that now more than ever kick off times are determined by pitch availability. ALL TEAMS MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND ACCEPT THE KICK OFF TIME GIVEN TO THEM BY THEIR OPPOSITION. To that end can ALL Teams who have a different kick off time to 11am ENSURE they give at least 2 weeks notice to their Opposition of a later or earlier kick off time. This will allow their Opposition to ensure they can meet a different kick off time. Fixtures will be allocated in 8 week blocks where possible so this should give plenty of time for Teams to contact their opponents about kick off times. AWAY Teams MUST be FLEXIBLE and be prepared to play some of their AWAY games at a kick off time other than 11am.

Some Teams have only been able to enter this Season on the basis they will have to kick off their Home games at times other than 11am. If the League wasn't FLEXIBLE there would be considerably fewer Teams and less Fixtures for ALL.

The League is here to provide the opportunity for people to play and to enjoy Football. We must be flexible to ensure in an ever changing world we can continue to provide that opportunity.
