A victory a piece for the top two.

In midweek, Stapenhill extended their leadership at the top of the board with a 0- 1 away win at Ellistown, St Andrews continued their movement up the table with a 6-1 defeat of Anstey Nomads as Joe Preston claimed an hat trick.
Birstall Utd added to Aylestone Park's relegation worries with a 3-2 victory over the bottom 2 placed outfit, Lewis Dodd netted a couple in their 2nd win on the spin.

At the week end, Mother Nature put paid to leaders Stapenhill playing at home to Aylestone Park and the big match at Ibstock, where the 3rd placed Utd were to host to 4th placed Barrow Town. Of the top 6, this left 2nd placed Thurnby Rangers at home to 6th placed Kirby Muxloe, and the home side took all the points with a 2-1 victory, their 6th win on the spin.

St Andrews continued their find of goal scoring form with an 8-0 demolition of Downes Sports after Callum Ross hit 4 and Danny Henfrey-2 as they scorched to a 6-0 half time lead.

Blaby and Whetstone made it 2 defeats for Ellistown in a week with a 3-1 victory at the boys club on Warwick Road. Rothley Imps remain firmly rooted to the foot of the table, 11 points adrift of Aylestone after their 6th successive defeat, 1-4 at home to Holwell Sports.
