PLAYERS CONSENT TO REGISTER

INSTRUCTIONS HAVE BEEN EMAILED TO ALL CLUB SECRETARIES ABOUT GETTING PLAYER CONSENT. See full article for details.

The league are aware that a number of clubs registered all their former players on WGS to get enough players available on the system to start the season. We also recognise that many of you did not get online consent or written consent from all these players.

To ensure the players you have registered have consented to play for you, any that have not given their consent on line through WGS must now sign a consent form. You can print one off from WGS or alternatively use the one attached to the email sent to you all. You will have until the end of October to complete this activity.

All players who have actually played for your team must sign a consent form.

For any players you do not get to sign a consent form, you must list them on an email and send it to Lindsay Wright so he can de-register them. You will be advised when this has been done so you can then detach them from your club.

In the meantime unless a player has actually played for your team, if they have not signed a consent form they can sign for other clubs. If they have played, then they will need to get a transfer if they want to move.

After the end of October any clubs that have not got a signed consent form for a player registered with them are liable to be fined.
