Thank you to everyone who represented the Oxfordshire Senior League V Thames Valley League in the National Inter County League Cup.

You will be aware that the OSL entered the National Inter League Cup – the preliminary round was played last night versus The Thames Valley Premier League at Newbury Town FC.
Unfortunately we lost 1-0. The goal scored, it has to be said, was worthy of winning any match!
The OSL team had a fair number of last minute withdrawals but 15 players stepped up to the plate and not only played some lovely football but played in a manner that we can all be very proud of. They were a credit to the league, their clubs and most importantly, themselves – they were a pleasure to watch.
The following Clubs were represented:
Adderbury
Eynsham
Freeland
Mansfield road
Oakley

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the players and management (Dave Kay - Mansfield Road, Dave Morris – Eynsham), on behalf of myself and the Committee, for representing the League and their clubs with such distinction and would very much appreciate it if you could pass on our thanks and congratulations to the players concerned.

Thank you
Andy Simpson
