VENUE: Mill Lane EC, West Derby
DATE: 01/03/10

OPENING PRAYER: Henry Corbett (St Peters)

APOLOGIES:
Bootle, Anfield, St Aidens and The Way
FA Emergency First Aid Courses:
Provisionally booked for 8th of March. Ron asked who wanted to go on it and said he would send details via Email.

90+ MINISTRIES:
Ron was expecting a delegate from 90+ to attend the meeting but they did not turn up. Ron said he would send info out via email but he needed to know if any teams wanted to purchase the Mission Balls, and if so, how many. They are priced at £5.35 each and he would need to know before the end of March.

FIXTURES / CUPS:

AKEJU CUP FINAL - Venue confirmed - Liverpool FA Headquarters (show pitch). Walton Hall Avenue. Date is 24/04/2010 (KO 10:30)
Dan explained that we would not look to have many fixtures on that day so the final can be well attended by other teams to show support. Dan explained he would have to schedule a game for any teams who were behind with fixtures.

CLAIRE HOUSE SHIELD FINAL - Venue TBC & Date TBC
Dan explained that unfortunately we had not been able to get Liverpool Academy and we are now looking for other venues. If anyone has any contacts they could ask regarding a nice venue to play the final (probably middle of May), please let the MCL committee know ASAP.

FIXTURES IN GENERAL:
Dan asked to be notified as much as possible in advance re National Cup & Trophy fixtures. Also, Dan asked if teams could continue to check if he has missed the opportunity to schedule a game. Also, please also look out in case there are too many games on a certain pitch. Jericho and Joe Stone are particular issues where we only have 3 pitches set aside for the MCL.

PRESENTATION DAY:
Saturday 12th of June
Venue: Play Football.net in Crosby (same as last year)
The presentation day/evening will take the same format as last year. There will be a 5 a side tournament during the day. Probably starting at around midday and then the presentation will be done afterwards. England play their World Cup game against USA on this date so there will be the opportunity to watch the match as well.
The cost will be £20 per team but if you wish to enter a 2nd team it will cost an extra £40. Please let Dan know at the next meeting if you are going to enter a team and bring money.

AGM:
Monday 14th of June 2010, Venue TBC

CHARTERED STANDARED:
Ronnie informed the room that the League now has a certificate from the FA certifying that the MCL is an FA Respect league.

REFEREES:
John explained that there had been some behaviour recently towards refs that was unnaceptable and we really need to control the line as well as players. Some comments had been directed towards Hazel which were upsetting and this is being dealt with.

New Ref = Jim Bailey 07932 930217

NEXT MEETING:
Venue = Frontline
Date = 12/04/2010

AOB:
Ron asked if there were any questions…
- West Derby (Mill Lane) asked if anything has been decided about St Peters from a recent incident. They were informed that the Committee now have all the information they needed and would be meeting after the Managers meeting to discuss.
- Tony Mullane asked about the minutes from the last meeting as he was not present. Dan explained that they are on the website and it is best to look at the website if you miss a meeting rather than going through the last meeting minutes again at each meeting.
- Tony Mullane asked if the accounts for the MCL were in order and if he could see them. Ron said yes and he is welcome to come and get them off him at the end.
- Tony Mullane asked if why no money had been given to Claire House, the leagues designated charity for a number of years. Ron explained that he had a cheque written out for £600 and was just waiting for an appropriate time to present the cheque to the charity. Ron will contact them and arrange this possibly for them to come along to a managers meeting or attend out presentation evening.
