Bell send out warning

Santiago played there're friendly of the season against a team they will face twice this season after there promotion last term. Santiago were hit with another injury when Bradley Gorrmer discovered he had a cracked rib. Santiago even had to have goalkeeper Barry Haglan on the bench with his broken finger. This was Bells 1st friendly although you would not have thought it. The 1st half produced limited chances for both teams nether keeper was really tested. The Bell were passing the ball around and Santiago took time to settle. at half time the teams came in level 0-0 the second half both teams created good chances, and the deadlock was broken by the bell on the 60th min when Nick Woodall lost the ball in midfield the bell player crossed from the left and the Santiago defence failed to clear the ball. The cross made the back post where the bell forward put it into the net. Santiago new they had to raise there game on the 70th min Santiago were awarded a free kick 20 yards out captain Scott Phillips floated the free kick into the box only for it to evade everyone and nestle into the bottom corner. At 1-1 both teams pushed for a second, but with 85min played a draw looked the likely outcome, when the bell midfielder picked up the ball in his own half and as Santiago backed of. Struck the ball from 22 yards into the roof of the net a goal good enough to win any game. Santiago play there last friendly sun 26th before there opening day league game. Manager Peter Fisher was happy with the team and hopes that his injury list does not get any longer.
