A brief summary of week 9 in season 2010.

Starting in the Premier Division,Hoghton returned to top spot after a 4-0 win away at Goosnargh,Fleece Inn and Catforth fought out a close game,ending 4-4.Dunsop Raiders finally got a win on the board,a good 5-3 away result at Brockholes Arms.
Division One is still finally balanced after PAH opened the door and succumbed to their first defeat of the season,losing 5-2 at Goosnargh 2nd's.Udderseenus City are only 3 points behind with a game in hand,after their win,3-1 at home to CCA.FC Barton are just about still in the mix at the top, after a good 7-3 win at home to Pilling.Finally Chipping got their first win of the season,a 4-3 win over a struggling Ribchester.Best wishes to Kris ,their secretary,who has broken his ankle,for a speedy recovery.
In Division Two East,a result very rarely seen in Summer League,0-0,between leaders Spartak Fulwood and Goosnargh 3rd's.Deepdale Dynamos good season continues with a 5-2 win away at Brockholes Arms Res.Chipping Res defeated Inter Marina 3-1.
In Division Two West Grimsargh continue to streak ahead after a 10 - 3 win at home to Stable Bar.Bilsborrow stay second afer a 1-1 draw against Fulwood P.R. and finally FC Newton beat Norcross / Warbreck 4-1 to stay in third spot.
In the Cup games played this week,Hoghton defeated Goosnargh for the second time in a week,5-3, in the Barron Cup.The other three fixtures are due to be played this coming Thursday.
In the Parkinson Cup,Chipping overcame Ribchester 4-3 to set up a semi final spot against Goosnargh 2nd's.
In the Hargreaves Cup,Stable Bar had a great win away at Fulwood P.R.,4-3,to confirm their semi final spot.The remaining two fixtures will be played this Tuesday.
The Billington Cup draw was made and Inter Marina will play Fulwood,Spartak Fulwood will play Goosnargh 3rd's and Grimsargh will play Deepdale Dynamos.All fixtures played this coming week.The remaining fixture will be decided this week after the final Hargreaves Cup fixture.
