A brief summary of week 12 as we approach the final weeks.

Starting in the Premier Division ...Fleece Inn needed to win their remaining fixture to stay on the title path, unfortunately Dunsop Raiders had other ideas on the night and Fleece were well beaten 6 - 2 at home, this meant Hoghton winning at Brockholes Arms would hand them their first title in the Summer League. They won 4-2.
Well done Hoghton Hotspur on this achievement. In the other fixture this week,Catforth had a walkover win against a no show Hoghton,1-0.
In Division One,still a fight on for first plaCe between Udderseenus and PAH.
Udderseenus set the pace with a 5-2 win away at Pilling.PAH then slipped up only drawing a fixture with Ribchester,2-2,thus letting the impetus go to Udderseenus.Goosnargh 2nd's beat a battling FC Barton 6-5 in a hard fought game.
In Second Division East / West their were a mixture of League games and Cup games to be decided this week.
In the League first ... East Division,Spartak Fulwood maintained their great run with a 5-2 win over near rivals Brockholes Arms Reserves.Goosnargh 3rd's continued to press the leaders with a 3-0 win over Inter Marina.
In the West Division Grimsargh and Bilsborrow were still the two teams to beat ...Grimsargh had a good 3-0 win over Norcross/Warbreck,leaving Bilsborrow to struggle to a 4-3 win over ever improving Stable Bar.FC Newton won 8-2 over an inconsistent Fulwood Park Rgrs team.
In the Cup Competitions,Spartak Fulwood defeated Fulwood Park Rgrs 5-1,Bilsborrow defeated close League rivals Grimsargh 4-2, to set up an encounter in the Billington Cup Final.
