A brief summary of week 13 as we approach the final couple of weeks to the end of the season.

With the Premier Division title decided this week saw the Semi Finals of the Barron Cup,the Leagues Premier Cup Competition.Hoghton Hotspur, going for the League and Cup double defeated PAH 5-1,in a one sided fixture. The other fixture was much closer, but again Dunsop Raiders beat Fleece Inn,6-4 to set up an interesting Final @ Garstang on Monday 2nd August.A new name on the Cup this season.
In the only League fixture this week Catforth and Goosnargh ended their seasons with a tame 1-1 draw.Only 1 fixture left now in this Division.
In Division One, still undecided to date but Udderseenus City are virtually home and dry after a convincing 9-0 drubbing of Goosnargh 2nd's,which surprisingly was 0-0 at half time.
PAH are still in it mathematically after a 4-2 win away at Chipping.Ribchester defeated Pilling 5-1 and the other fixture saw Goosnargh 2nd's win a forfeited fixture 1-0 over Pilling.
In Division Two East,Spartak Fulwood needed 4 points from their 2 games this week to ensure the title was theirs.
Firstly they defeated Deepdale Dynamos 7-3,then they beat Chipping Reserves 4-1 to give them the title in only their second season in the League, agreat achievement by them and my how far they have come from last season when they were being beaten literally every other week. Well Done !!!!
In the weeks other fixtures Goosnargh 3rd's beat Chipping Reserves 3-2,and Brockholes Arms Reserves thumped Inter Marina 7-0.
In Division Two West, still two teams in the hunt for the Title ... Grimsargh and Bilsborrow.
Due to the inclement weather on Tuesday Stable Bar vs Grimsargh was off,so the title decider was then down to Thursday's fixture at Bilsborrow against Grimsargh.A bit of a surprising result in that Grimsargh won 5-1,thus handing them the title of Division 2 West Champions.Again a great achievement for a team which finished with the wooden spoon last season .. well done to all at Grimsargh !!!!
FC Newton and Stable Bar drew 3-3 and Fulwood Park Rgrs form changed again with a 4-2 win away at Norcross/Warbreck.
So all Cup Finals are now decided,3 out of 4 Leagues are decided, with the final Division One issue, to be sorted in next weeks fixtures.
Well done to all the teams who have won the Leagues and are in the Cup Finals, commiserations to all the other teams and well done throughout the season for well fought competition(s).
