Clearance Needed During The Season

Please remember that you cannot enter an outside Spring or Easter tournament during the season without applying for and being granted clearance from the league.

The dates of the spring cup rounds are as follows.
U11, U10 & U9 cups: 17 Feb, 2 March, 16 March, 27 April.
U7 & U8 cups: 9 March, 27 April.

The Under 12 Cup rounds are scheduled for the following dates:
Under 12 League Cup: 7/10, 11/11, 9/12, 13/1, 3/2, Final tbc.
Under 12 League Trophy: 25/11, 9/12, 13/1, 3/2, Final tbc.
(Teams knocked out of the cup in rounds 1 & 2 enter the Trophy)

Remember that if your match is postponed the home team must inform the Fixture Secretary ASAP, giving the reason for postponement.

If a fixture is reversed with the agreement of both teams you MUST inform the Fixture Secretary asap to avoid any referee, pitch or insurance issues, or any other misunderstanding. If you do not inform the Fixture Secretary the scheduled home team will be considered to have been the home team for the match.

All age groups must be played in line with the formats set out in FA rules. Under 7 & 8 must be played as 5 a side as a maximum, under 9 & 10 must be played as 7 a side as a maximum, under 11 & 12 must be played as 9 a side as a maximum. Any matches played outside of FA rules will be referred to the League Committee for possible sanction.

A reminder that any teams entering outside tournaments over the Easter / Spring period must apply for permission from the league committee (rule 2 K).

Yet another reminder that sporting trophy marks are only required from under 7 & 8 teams.

All HOME teams must phone or text their match result by 4 pm each Saturday. In the under 7 & 8 section BOTH teams must phone or text their sporting mark, this is a mark out of 10 for the sporting behaviour of your opponents. Any postponed matches must also be reported by the HOME team. Voice mail or text messages must be sent to the Fixture Secretary on 07432 542900.
