Hunts County Cup

The LP reached the county cup semi finals for the second year running after a 3-1 win over a dogged and determined Eagle heating side in St Neots.

Trailing 1-0 after 35 mins LP manager Luke Claxton brought himself on and made an instant impact with a close range header with his first touch to level things up at the break. The LP dominated the second half for long periods and got their reward with 20 mins left after a fine finish from Mark Browne and Josh Turner added a late third to seal the win. An tricky away semi final in Peterborough in the new year now stands between the LP and a second successive final appearance.
