Wins for Billericay, Danbury and Rayleigh on opening day.

The 2012-13 Chelmsford & District Churches League got underway last weekend with all 8 of the 10 clubs involved getting on the scoresheet.
Rayleigh top the table by virtue of notching 7 of the weekends 18 goals in a convincing win over Tile Kiln.
Billericay came out on top by the odd goal in a 5 goal game over CGC - an enjoyable read of the post match report can be found on their website at http://billericaybaptistfc.wordpress.com

It took a strong second half performance from Danbury Mission to come from a goal behind to take all three points in a 2-1 win over a resilient Baddow side who will feel unlucky not to take anything from a game which could easily have finished 5-5, had it not been for some stong saves and the width of a coat of paint on the goalposts!
Central Baptist and UCB shared the spoils with a goal a piece to round off the opening weekends games.
