The league AGM was held on Monday 12th June 2017, at Easton College. The league name was changed to Hadley & Ottaway Anglian Combination, to include our new sponsor.

In the Mummery Cup Final, Mulbarton Wanderers beat Acle United 2-1, in a close fought match. Daniel Foreman gave Acle the lead, but Ben Thompson equalised soon after. Dominic Doggett got the winner, near the end to seal the win for Mulbarton.

Congratulations to Gorleston Res for retaining the CS Morley Cup, beating Attleborough Town Res 3-0. Well done to both teams for providing an entertaining match, despite the wet conditions. Gorleston Res have also won Div 4 to complete the double.

Congratulations to Acle United for winning the Sterry Cup for the fourth time in a row. They beat rivals Spixworth to clinth the title with 2 matches to spare.

Congratulations to Spixworth on retaining the Mummery Cup. They beat Caister 1-0, at FDC, with a Jordan Rocastle goal in second half.

Congratulations to Mundford on winning the Cyril Ballyn Cup. They beat East Harling 1-0 at FDC, with a goal from Sam Last. The teams meet again in Norfolk Junior Cup final on 12th May.

Having clinched the Division 5 South title last week, Gorleston Res completed a double, beating Gayton United 4-0 to win the CS Morley Cup.

Almary Green Anglian Combination played Spartan South Midlands League, at Wroxham. The lads did well, 0-0 at fulltime but tired in extra time and lost 4-1.

Congratulations to Acle United on retaining the Sterry Cup, with a hat-trick of Premier Division titles. The only other club to achieve this feat was Wroxham in the 1980's.

In the FA Inter League Cup Almary Green Anglian Combination beat Northamptonshire Combination, 5-1, at Wroxham. There was a minutes silence before the match for Tony Dickerson our President, whose funeral is on Monday.

It is with great sadness, that I have to inform you of the death of Tony Dickerson, our League President. After a long illness, Tony passed away peacefully in his sleep yesterday, 29th March, aged 77.

It is with great sadness, that I have to inform you of the death of John Humby who had been Secretary of Beccles Town for many years. John was also a Vice President of our league and served on our Management Committee for 23 years.

The Almary Green Anglian Combination Football League, was formed fifty years ago and to celebrate this milestone, there was a dinner in the "Top of the City", at Norwich City Football Club, on Thursday 26th March 2015.
